Cancellation Policy and Contract – for customers
1. All events are “rain or shine” unless otherwise stipulated. The client agrees to pay the FULL amount of the service fees contracted prior to event and travel. The client agrees to pay the FULL amount of any and all tickets and reservation fees, to all services provided and travel related fees, and or institutions that are required for the event or excursion. We require ALL PAYMENTS to be made in full and to be completed as soon as verbal or online arrangements are made to secure the services. Payments for the service are to be made directly through www.eugeneofficiant.com. We accept all payment types to include cash, valid check, visa and debit. Make all travel payments prior to travel, directly to your chosen minister using either cash, valid check, Square or PayPal. We require payment in full to be completed as soon as verbal or online arrangements are made to secure our services, prior to the agreed rehearsal and or ceremony date. The CLIENT/PURCHASER agrees to pay the full amount contracted prior to the date of event, prior to the minister’s arrival at the event location, even if minister cannot perform due to inclement weather, although in this case, the CLIENT/PURCHASER is responsible to provide an alternate indoor location or make arrangements via Zoom or the like in the event of inclement weather, and ensure the safety of the minister at all times. CLIENT/PURCHASER will ensure Minister’s comfort providing a safe, warm and dry space while conducting the ceremony.
2. CANCELLATION of the engagement by the CLIENT/PURCHASER for any reason shall forfeit any deposits or payments previously made prior to the cancellation. Rescheduling event/ceremony/travel arrangements instead of cancellation is encouraged, and will be attempted first instead of immediate cancellation. In the case of extreme reasons to cancel travel plans, which are defined below in paragraph #3, there may be additional cancellation fees and contract agreements with outside travel related companies to consider.
Cancellation of the engagement by the CLIENT/PURCHASER within 90 days of the date of booked travel engagement shall also require payment of the balance to the MINISTER, unless the same act is re-booked by the CLIENT/PURCHASER for a mutually agreeable date within 30 days of the canceled date. 10% may be reimbursed, according to the specified event/travel excursion purchased. CLIENT/PURCHASER canceling their travel engagement by telephone in addition must also verify that cancellation in writing (via dated mail, email or FAX).
3. Only in the extreme conditions if the minister or the CLIENT/PURCHASER must cancel the event/travel/engagement due to an Act of God, “Force Majeure,” riot, strike, epidemic, or by the order of any public authority, and absolutely cannot be rescheduled, this contract shall become null and void, all deposit and balance payments shall be refunded, and both parties shall have no further legal recourse against each other; or if minister is unable to attend due to the described extreme conditions, Rising Heart Ritual & Ceremonial Officiants will provide a substitute minister to step in as new officiant for the ceremony/event/travel.
